Kelly K. Noel is a senior executive specializing in large‑scale construction, real estate, and facilities strategies within complex and diverse healthcare environments.

Kelly serves as vice president of construction, real estate, and facilities for UPMC, one of the nation’s largest integrated health care systems and a global leader in groundbreaking research, clinical innovation, and advanced patient care. In this role, she provides strategic direction for a $1B+ annual capital program and oversees a team of more than 1,000 professionals responsible for a portfolio exceeding 42 million square feet, including 42 hospitals, 800 sites of care, and senior communities across Pennsylvania, Maryland, and New York. Her leadership also extends to international projects in Italy, Ireland, and Croatia, where she guides facility development initiatives aligned with UPMC’s global mission.

With a career spanning the full lifecycle of healthcare, life science, and data center projects—including development, design and engineering, construction, and operations—Kelly is known for delivering complex initiatives that advance organizational priorities, strengthen operational performance, and support long‑term sustainability. Her unique blend of technical expertise and strategic insight ensures that each project is executed with excellence while reinforcing systemwide goals.

Kelly earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Rose‑Hulman Institute of Technology in 2002 and an MBA from the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 2019.

She currently serves on numerous boards advancing education, community development, sustainability, and healthcare innovation. These include Rose‑Hulman Institute of Technology, Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, Module, Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership, RevistaMed, Leadership Pittsburgh, the national advisory board of Women in Healthcare and Slippery Rock University Construction Management Advisory Board. She also chaired the 2025 March of Dimes Transportation, Building and Construction Awards.
