DeAnne (Dee) Priddis is an Associate Professor of Communication Studies at Middle Tennessee State University, with a PhD in Communication (UW Milwaukee) and a MS in Human Resources Training & Development (UW Stout). She teaches courses in Organizational and Health Communication, including Conflict Resolution, Interviewing, Training & Development, and Communication in Health Organizations.
With over 15 years of professional experience in corporate and nonprofit sectors, primarily in human resources and training, Dee brings practical insights and experiential learning to the classroom. Additionally, she serves as the President of the Nashville Chapter of Association of Talent Development (ATD), is a listed Tennessee Supreme Court (TSC) Rule 31 Mediator and contributes to research on conflict in families and organizations.
She resides in Middle Tennessee with her husband and two golden retrievers. Dee enjoys exploring our greenway systems and state parks, attempting to cook, and spending time with friends and their adult children.
